GEO agency in Germany, working worldwide
TopStuttgart makes businesses visible in AI answer engines. We are based in Stuttgart, Germany, and the work is delivered remotely, so location is not a constraint.
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is about being the source that ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google Gemini and Claude name and cite. It is not search ranking. It is a separate channel with its own measurement and its own limits, and this page states all three openly.

What makes this different: we publish the noise band
Most AI visibility reporting is a screenshot. Somebody asks ChatGPT one question on one day, the brand appears, and that becomes the case study.
That is not a measurement. AI answer engines are non-deterministic. The same question asked three times returns different wording and different sources. A single run proves nothing in either direction.
So every engagement is measured the same way:
- 3 runs per question, per engine, per day, at a fixed time of day.
- A 7-day baseline before any optimisation, frozen and checksummed so the “before” provably predates the work.
- A published noise band: how much the number moves on its own. Any change inside that band is reported as no result, not as progress.
- Per-engine reporting, never a blended average.
What does a GEO agency cost?
Published prices in 2026 range widely. In Germany, monthly retainers run from roughly 890 EUR to 8,000 EUR, with one-off audits between 490 and 1,490 EUR and enterprise mandates reaching 15,000 EUR per month. In the United States, entry-level programmes start at 1,000 to 2,500 USD per month, mid-market engagements run 2,000 to 10,000 USD, and category-leadership programmes reach 10,000 to 25,000 USD and beyond. We sit in the middle of that market, which is a deliberate position, and we scope the number on a call because it follows the size of the category and the question set: we sell measurement rigour rather than content volume. Panels at the entry end of the market typically cover 25 to 50 prompts. Ours covers 100 to 150 prompts at 5 to 8 runs each, with a published confidence interval.
How long does GEO take to work?
First signals typically appear after 4 to 8 weeks. Repeatable citations after 3 to 6 months. Compounding authority after 6 to 12 months. This is why the minimum term is 6 months and not 3. A shorter engagement ends before the result becomes measurable, which wastes your money and produces no evidence either way.
What is the difference between GEO, AEO and LLMO?
They describe the same work. GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization, AEO for Answer Engine Optimization, LLMO for Large Language Model Optimization. AEO is the older term and is used more narrowly for voice assistants and short direct answers. GEO is becoming the standard label. LLMO survives mostly in vendor marketing. The underlying task is identical in all three cases: become verifiable and quotable enough that an answer engine repeats what you say. We call it GEO.
Why we sell measurement rather than a position
AI answer engines are non-deterministic. The same question returns different answers, and different sources, on consecutive runs. There is no ranked list to hold a position in, so a fixed position in ChatGPT is not a thing anyone can deliver.
What we commit to is the measurement: a fixed question set, a fixed time of day, several runs per question per engine, a stated noise band, and per-engine reporting every month. If a provider tells you they can place you at the top of an AI answer, ask how many runs per question they measured over how many days. Most cannot answer.
Why work with an agency in Stuttgart?
Because the work is remote and the specialisation is not. GEO requires an infrastructure that most generalist agencies do not run: a fixed question set per client, repeated automated querying across four engines, cost control on the model calls, and a statistical baseline. We built that infrastructure for our own site first. Stuttgart is where the company sits and where our local SEO clients are. For GEO work, the client can be anywhere.
Get started
The first step is always the measurement, not the optimisation. Without a baseline and a noise band, no later improvement can be proven.
